PARTY--PARTY--PARTY

This was the table setting for my good friend Sherie's birthday party. We ate scones with REAL clotted cream and jam, deviled eggs, ham and fruit.
I used my pretty plates.
We had party favor bags fill with all kinds of goodies.
I invited her sister, sister-in-law, mom, and four nieces. We sat around after lunch and talked about all favorite memories with Sherie like; favorite Halloween party, favorite trip, favorite reading time, favorite Christmas memory, favorite gardening time.....such a fun day! Sherie and I have been friends since 8th grade. She is my dear, dear friend. Happy Birthday friend!

What a festive table setting and menu. Aren't gatherings with friends the best?

When we did our Dotty Quilt Night in January, we all decided we were in the right mood to have a party! So we got a spiffy cake and sent out invitations (not normally done) and had fun food. Like that, your table instantly says to the people who gather round, that they are wonderful and worth the effort. It's like getting dressed up in fancy clothes to go somewhere! Lovely!
