FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN

Today is the first day of Autumn. I love autumn.....Jodi's orange quilt has inspired me. I have never made or owned an orange quilt.....so because of this cute post, I think I will make myself a small orange quilt.

I was looking at a guys blog who lives in a big city and had really fun pictures of places around his area. I wondered if I had anything interesting to photograph.....so I drove around our rural farm commumity and found some interesting things. I also found these very nice words. Live in the sunshine.

My house is deathly quiet. It was SO much fun to have my children and grandchildren at my house for 2 weeks.

I noticed when my youngest daughter left home years ago, not only are they gone physically, but there is no TV, music, showers, or friends.

It feels like that today, so now I must find things to keep myself company. Thank goodness I bought peaches on my way back from the airport. I can look forward to peach jam, and maybe I will sew!
