Here is my quilt top, finished and ready to go to the quilters.......who is quite fast....which will be nice since I will need to scallop the edges and bind it...Do you ever get a craving for something from your childhood? My great-aunt lived around the corner when I was young. We would go knock on her door, and she would bring us frozen oatmeal raisin cookies....they were so yummy just barely frozen and chewy when you bit into them....here is my favorite oatmeal raisin cookie recipe....GO GOOD FROZEN!

1/2 cup butter........ 1/2 cup shortening

1 cup white sugar .......1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs....... 1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour .......2- 3/4 cup instant oatmeal
1 tsp. baking powder .......1 tsp. soda
1/2 to 1 cup raisins

Cream butter, shortening, sugars, and eggs until creamy. Add soda, baking powder and vanilla. Stir in raisins. Add flour, and oatmeal. Stir until well mixed.
Bake 10+ minutes at 350. Don't over cook, remove when the edges are light golden brown.
Freeze in zip-lock bag.
