NOW I AM READY TO SEW!

Here is my new sewing table. I painted it cream (I have 4 gallons of this cream paint) sanded the edges and stained it...you know I love my Mr. Stain! And spray painted the handles satin black! Amazing what four coats of paint and a little stain wil do!
This is the ugly file cabinet at the end of the sewing table...yes, you know it!! I painted it!
Now my room is ready for some serious sewing. ... I actually have done some sewing, I made me a new skirt...I will show you soon! Happy sewing everyone!

Love the filing cabinet! I have one that exact color, and it's screaming for some red paint. Good job on your sewing table.

Fabulous!!!!! I love the file cabinet too - I tried to paint one once, but didn't have the right stuff, so I decoupaged it. Can't wait to see your skirt!

Hi Sheri, I love your sewing table and I'm looking for an old tall filing cabinet to put all of my paper work in. Painting it is good. Can't wait to see your skirt.

What a great makeover! Love the red as a contrast to the cream. You'll be able to get even more done!!

Beautiful!!! Love the wonky way the handles are attached. Isn't a "new" sewing space inspirational. Happy Sewing!!! Can't wait to see what you're up to.

Very nice. Do you do anything to the file cabinet before spraying it?
(sand it or prime it)
