EDIT: Did anyone notice this little symbol on my blog? We are having a give away for their new site too! Check out Sarah's blog! We will all love this new Sewn up site! I will choose a winner from all your comments for my personal give-away and one more for the Sewn up! I will tell you later what the Sewn up winner gets....I am still planning!!!!! Thanks for all your comments!
HELLO EVERYONE! This is my 97th post...why wait for the 100th to have a GIVE AWAY; what's a few more posts more or less? So here is how it goes.
1. Leave a comment about your most favorite blog, the one you go to when you need a "pick-me-up"....it doesn't have to be mine... it doesn't have to be about quilting....I have my favorite too! I'll tell you later what it is! (I want to make a list of fun places to visit, I will share the list later!)
2. Tell something about yourself we don't already know...so we can get to know you better!

3. Visit Moda Bake Shop and see what date the post was for the Triple Irish Flower Quilt above....because that is the PRIZE! One of you lucky people will get my pretty Triple Irish Flower Quilt!!! (you need to scroll down to the end of the post)

Thank you for visiting my blog the past 7 months, it has been such a fun place to meet wonderful people. I remember the first time I saw someone have a give-away for the 100th post and thinking, "100 posts, is that really possible, would I have enough to say for 100 posts?" Well, it has happened because of you and your blogs...it just keeps the blogging world going 'round!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
p.s. Yes I will ship internationally.

Hi Sheri...there is no date that I can see on Moda Bake Shop...or I'm missing it. It is after the Apron and I saw it on your post about May 11th. I've loved it from the first time I saw it and would be over the moon to win this quilt! There are many favorite blogs I visit and wouldn't want to offend anybody. I've got several listed on my sidebar. I think for decorating I would go with Karen at Liberty Star (used to be The Yellow Farmhouse). But then I go over to Anne at Cottons & Wools, then there is Darlene's, Wendy's, Karen's....my list is so darned long. Not to mention yours!!
Something about myself you want to know...I absolutely hate December birthdays and would switch mine to a summer one if it were so easy. On a positive note..I love to surprise people when they least suspect it. It gives me a good warm fuzzy feeling.

I love Simplicity which is how I got to your site! I also love Pioneer Woman.

I got married young (17) and have been married 28 years. My oldest got married on the 16th of May. My second graduated high school two weeks later and I have a 7 year old!

May 12, 2009 and can I say I love your MAD Quilting Skillz?

I loved the quilt when you posted it. I thought that one day I would have to make one. But I'd much rather win yours! I'm a retired school teacher who has taken up quilting only recently. One of my favorite blogs is my daughter's. It's funny and she posts cute pictures of my grandkids on it. Mmmboppin.

The Pioneer Woman is my pick me up. She is the one that got me started on all this blogging stuff :-) I LOVE this quilt. I remember when it first appeared (on Tuesday the 12th) on Moda Bake Shop and thinking I NEED to make this quilt. What a GREAT giveaway! Thanks. Love your blog :-D

Hey therw Sheri! My pick me up blog is http://arieleldridge.blogspot.com/. I love her stuff, she's new to this like me, and well we have a son the same age to I can totally relate.

Something about myself that you don't know. Well you don't know anything so that should be hard . . . just kidding! I've been playing a prank on my co-worker by taking away her pen everytime she turns around and placing it someplace new, she's done this to me with another object for months so I'm getting back!

I think that the date of the post for the Moda Bake Shop was the 11th or 12th of May? I can't check the website is down this morning.

AND PICK ME!

Hi Sheri,

I always visit MommyCoddle for a pick me up. She always manages to keep a positive attitude no matter what life throws at her and reading her blog just makes me relax a bit.

The quilt is absolutely beautiful. On May 12 I had traveled to Florida for work with my toddler and I remember seeing this quilt and thinking how I hope to be so adventurous in my quilting to attempt something like that one day.

Something about me... Last month my family became debt free! :) Even though my husband isn't working much we managed. What a GREAT feeling!

I can't believe it..I was just on Moda Bake Shop Tuesday admiring this quilt and NOW I have the chnace to win it!!!!! It was posted on May 12, 2009. I'm a blog junkie thanks to my non-sewing sister-in-law who got me hooked on reading and then I had to start my own! Something about me, I jumped out of an airplane in October 2005 to help celebrate my baby sister's 30th birthday.

I have lots of favorite blogs, one of my faves is A Dress A Day. Erin McKean writes in an intelligent, pithy style that just makes me wish I knew her in real life so we could have witty conversations about nonsensical topics.

Thanks for this chance...even though I can't believe you are giving this away!

About myself...I absolutely LOVE hanging laundry! Of all household chores, laundry is my fave, and I can't wait for winter to be over to hang laundry outside on the line. During winter, I hang in over a vent...we do have a dryer if you are wondering...I use it for towels and undies...and baby clothes (many moons ago).

That post was dated the 12th of May. And a triple irish chain is on my to do list...I was just going to cut up scraps till I had enough, but there's something about 30's colors and irish chains..they just go together! I would LOVE to win your quilt!!!!!

Congratulations on your 97th Post. What a great accomplishment.

I have so many blogs that are all truly favorites of mine and so
Many bloggers who give me inspiration and brighten my every day.

One blog I like to visit is TDIPT. A group blog.

www.todwellinprimitivethymes.blogspot.com/

I am a “tomboy” at heart, and love all things related to Camping, fishing, dirt bike riding and so much more. I was voted “most daring” (in a good way) when I was in school (years ago). Yep, made my mother proud since she always wanted me in a dress and I was her “little girl.”

I also love quilts! No, I’m not just saying that because of your prize. I love quilts as my grandmother was always quilting. I have a n old vintage (antique by now) quilt that is finally coming apart at the seams and I will not get rid of it. But boy oh boy does it need replaced.

I also love aprons, yep, my grandmother always made them too and had one on almost 24/7.

The Triple Fish Flower Quilt Post was on Tuesday, May 12, 2009.

I won’t deny how badly I want to win! I love the Triple Fish Flower Quilt and would Cherish it forever and pass it down to my son. (Everything is crossed in hopes of being the lucky winner)!

Thanks for holding a sweet giveaway. How fun! Please sign me up.

Hi,
What a beautiful quilt! I love the pattern and the colors. I'd love to win it.
Let's see -- my favorite blog.
Well, I enjoy reading Coolrue. Doug Haskell has been running an antique tool quiz for me. He and his wife moved to Ireland to retire and he is doing a wonderful re-do on an old house/barn.
Tied for first place is "We Almost Made It," a private blog written by my oldest daughter. I learn so much about her life through reading her blog. She lives in another state and we don't get to visit too often.
Third in the first place tie is "Angels" the blog written by my GS. He is awesome. It is also private.
Hummmm, I guess the others in first place are the many quilting blogs -- oh, drat, there just isn't a way to pick just one!

Something you don't know about me?
I taught photography for 14 years at a community college.

Wow, I love that quilt, posted at Moda Bakeshop on June4, 2009. I have it on my list to make someday. I have recently moved from Utah to Florida and have tons of free time to sew. I am taking advantage of it. I am struggling to find quilting friends who live the same type of quilting that I do. I will be an empty nester in 3 years and am struggling with that. Your blog certainly inspires me, but the one I credit the most is my friend Lori Holt. I love everything she does. When I'm feeling down, I will go to her blog and get a pick me up. http//beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.com

I was actually the Moda Bake shop just the other day....and truly love that place. The May 12th posting was where I found the Triple Irish Flower Quilt. It is lovely. I love to go to www.solomonsurprises.blogspot.com, she is so funny, going through a rough spot right now but I am sure she will come out shinning. I am trying to think something of myself that would be interesting...I do have all sons but never wanted a daughter.....I got what I wanted but my husband always wanted a daughter. Wish I had one now to sew with and go shopping, I go shopping alone and know no other way. Now my husband goes grocery shopping with me. Thanks for having this giveaway. I also love your work and you blog...(no not brown nosing)....

Wow - when I began reading this post there were no comments - and after visiting the June 4 post on the Moda Bakeshope and coming back here - I find 65 commenst. That is a lot of traffic in a short time.

There are so many wonderful blogs but one that really blows me away is http://moondaisies.blogspot.com/ - she takes you on walks through the English countryside with lovely photos and text.

Something about me - hmmmm - I grew up in Sitka, Alaska, before Alaska was a state - it was quite primitive then - and fun for a kid. I made my first quilt for my doll when I was 7 - so she wouldn't be so cold. I don't have the quilt any more, but for some reason I have a pair of pink jammies that I also made for her at the same time.

Even though I follow a lot of wonderful crafting/quilting blogs out there, the one I go to for a pick-me-up or good chuckle is themeanestmom.blogspot.com. She is so funny...much younger then me, could be my daughter. But I remember feeling the same way about things with the home and family when my kids were growing up.
I hate to fly and would much rather travel by car and see the scenery.

I want to get in shape soooo bad since we had our last baby but I am not motivated enough to exercise! I think it has something to do with staying up too late reading blogs and then being too tired to do anything physical the next day. Those darn, good, addicting blogs!

These ladies make me smile and like all the same things I do :). So something about myself. I'm sewing a quilt for my daughters pending marriage in Oct. with the momo fabric wonderland. and I guess I think of myself as the cheerleader at work. Hi, I saw your beautiful "Triple Irish Flower Quilt" on the Moda Bake Shop last month but I had to go back and check to find the date...it was May 12th (this year). My favorite blog is one that will always really put a smile on my face, La Vie en Rosie, Carrie Nelson's Blog. She is always, always good for a pick me up and often good for a yummy recipe...plus, she makes me laugh. Really, really laugh. She is also very kind and caring and I love Miss Rosie and her 'rock' fetish too. Hmmm something about me you don't already know...well, okay, the quilt in the little thumbnail photo by my post is the very first quilt I ever made. Started it March of last year, finished it September of last year. It is a monstrous 114" by 117". Thank you so very much for a chance to have your beautiful quilt. Such a generous giveaway I'm just blown away by quilters as a group. Wonderful people that I am proud to be a part of. Good Luck Everyone!!! (by the way, my apologies for deleting my earlier comment, when I re-read it, I had repeated the same sentence 3 times and it made me crazy...I had to fix it. Hmmm...kind of like a quilt corner that won't quite match up, LOL)

Mary at Quilt Hollow is my favorite blog. She is a genuinely nice person able to create such beautiful quilts, with seemingly little effort. Mary has directed me to really intesting blogs, opening me to this new and great world.
About me: I am a 10 year quilter, who has taken so many classes that I will probably never get all my UFOs done. But, classes are great and you always learn something new or make a new friend. I have the dream job of working at my favorite local quilt shop. We have just started a blog and as of this spring have gone online. My job is to cut kits and use the die cut machine. I also fill in out front when needed. Check us out: www.theatticwindowquiltshoppe.com I have one miracle baby - now aged 15, and life is often drowning in her dramatics. So, reading blogs and keeping in touch with friends is how I maintain my sanity. People keep telling me she will be human again - sometimes I even believe them.
Your beautiful quilt was posted on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. I even have the Honey Bun roll bought with no idea what to do with it, and now I do! Check out Whisper by Sentimental Studios, it is so pretty rolled up but will look even better in a quilt.

I enjoy visiting the Something to Crow About blog--a local architectural and salvage team in my area. They always have creative ideas. And something few people know about me--I love to china paint...

Hi Sheri, the date on the Triple Irish Flower quilt is May 12, 2009. My pick-me-up blog is www.homespunliving.blogspot.com
I have many favourites, but this one seems to stand out for me. Something about myself .... being a homeschool mum, I dont have much time to indulge in my quilting passion, but I have secret desires to fill my home with quilts that can become heritage heirlooms for my children and grandchildren to come. By the way I LOVE Moda Bake Shop, I will be listing it as one of my favourites in my sidebar. :)

Hi, Sheri! What a great giveaway! And I'm so glad you started blogging, 'cause yours is one of my go-to blogs. I also love deardaisycottage, simplify, and my girls' blogs - but my most, most favorite blog is thenieniedialogues (I'm sure you're all probably familiar with Stephanie Nielson's story already). I just LOOOOVE that lady! She is so down-to-earth and creative, not afraid to say what she thinks, yet endearing. I'm tickled to death that she's blogging again. She pulls my heartstrings and makes me laugh, both.
Every blog I've mentioned has a way of doing that, in fact. I'm really hooked on certain ones!
Oh, and Tuesday, May 12, 2009 IS the day that your glorious quilt was on Moda (I looked, too ;). I remember loving it.
Something about me...well, My 55th birthday is in one week, and I want to go fishing sooo badly, I can taste it (the fishing AND the fish). So I am excited for that.
Thanks!

I also love checking out Ric-Rac an aussie lady who is mad for selvedges and makes amazing things like dresses, umbrella's and even a chair out of selvedges (yep certifiable methinks) ... a thing about myself no one knows? well I am pretty much an open book BUT I am a lactose intolerant chocoholic.. This quilt is absolutely awesome. It would be perfect for my new granddaughter, so I would love to be entered in the drawing.

One of my favorite blogs is Sharon Boggon's blog, Pintangle. Her blog is always so interesting and informative.

I've been quilting for years doing mostly traditional designs, but like to try new things such as crazy quilting, landscape quilting, watercolor quilting, etc.

I saw your quilt on the Moda site when it was first posted, tuesday May 12. Little did I know then that it would be in a give away now. Thanks.

Love the quilt and would certainly like to see it in my home. There are too many bloggers out there who are so fantastic that it is really hard to choose a favorite. I spend a lot of time reading the blogs and get a lot of good information from them. I have especially enjoyed Red Geranium Cottage and Yellow Farmhouse (she now has new name). I enjoyed seeing their progress on the moves and makes me want a new house. But, then I say to myself, what are you thinking? All that "stuff"? What would you do with it? Since my retirement, I have accumulated lots of fabric and don't have enough time to complete all the projects that I have started. I knit, crochet and tat in my "other" spare time. I love it!!!!!!!!

The date of the quilt was May 12.
Thanks for including me in your giveaway.
