The place needs to be a "clean rustic" look, not too many things or antiques, more sparse ....so, if anyone knows of any GREAT places , or "cool looking buildings," or names of places I can email, let me know.....There is a lot of red in the quilts for this book... THANKS!

Hey Sheri! Have you thought about contacting some of the local Bed and Breakfast's in the area. Or maybe houses listed on the Historical Registry for the area. Many might be thrilled to have a credit listed in your book for the photo shoot. Good Luck! I can't think of any specific locations, but you should be able to find some beautiful locations there.

My mom, sisters and I just got back from Gardners Village in Salt Lake. Have you been there? They have BEAUTIFUL settings- a working water wheel/mill thing, old rustic cabins and newer painted ones with porches, river and covered bridges, etc. I think that would be great for photos! Maybe you could hang some of your work on the porch railings. Plus, you can stop off in Pineneedles quilt store and check out their stuff. If interested, I can get you some numbers and directions, etc.

The last house we lived at, in Idaho Falls, is a beautiful old farmhouse with pastures, old barn and outbuildings with fading white paint and huge trees. I can think of some great places there! Plus, we are still in contact with the owner and I'm pretty confident he wouldn't mind a photo session there. Hmmm. Maybe I'll even take my kids out there for some pictures, now that I think about it! Again, let me know if interested in checking it out. :)
Have you thought of the pioneer settlement by Salt Lake City? It's super rustic!
Also, my sister lives in Ozark, MO, in the country. They have an old barn and tons of stuff like you pictured here. (She's the one with 21 kids) Anyway, let me know if you are interested.
